AKM Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft Kreis Mettmann mbH

Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft Kreis Mettmann mbH manages the district landfill Langenfeld-Immigrath for the district of Mettmann. The landfill is one of two landfills in the district that ensure safe disposal of class I mineral waste. In addition, the company operates two transshipment facilities for the district in which municipal waste is combined into economical transport units. These are then transferred to a waste-to-energy plant and a composting plant.

AUREC Gesellschaft für Abfallverwertung und Recycling mbH

AUREC GmbH specialises in the reuse of waste that is transferred to underground stowage. Through its recovery activities, the company contributes to the professional filling of cavities in disused mine sections and thus to their long-term stabilisation.

BAUREKA Baustoff-Recycling GmbH

As an affiliate company of EUROVIA and REMEX, BAUREKA specialises in the disposal, processing and marketing of construction residues such as construction and demolition waste as well as industrial residues such as bottom ash from waste incineration. The company offers all the services required for ecological and economical waste management.

B+R Köln GmbH

Since 1986, B+R Köln GmbH, as a subsidiary of MAV, has been operating a stationary aggregate processing plant for the production of quality-assured recycled aggregates. Additional business areas include trading in primary aggregates and all services in connection with the disposal of mineral construction waste and soil. Customers benefit from the integration into a regional network of aggregate producers and waste disposal companies.

B + R Baustoff-Handel und Recycling Düsseldorf-Neuss GmbH

With five locations, the company is headquartered in the port of Düsseldorf and serves as a reliable partner for the region's construction industry – both with regard to the disposal of construction and demolition waste as well as the production and supply of REMEXIT recycled aggregates and natural aggregates.

Since 1997, the landfill operation company DBV has been operating landfills in Velbert, including the Plöger Steinbruch landfill site of landfill class I.

Dolphin Metal Separation B.V.

A company of the Dutch REMEX subsidiary HEROS Sluiskil B.V., Dolphin is situated on a 20.000 m² area in Harderwijk, 65 km east of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Core business activity of Dolphin is the treatment of coarse non-ferrous metal concentrates stemming from incinerator bottom ash processing using advanced sink float techniques.

ENREBA Neuss GmbH is an affiliate company of B + R Baustoff-Handel und Recycling Düsseldorf-Neuss GmbH. The three pillars of ENREBA Neuss: disposal, recycling and aggregate production.

HEROS Sluiskil B.V.

As a 100% owned subsidiary of REMEX GmbH, HEROS Sluiskil B.V. is an expert in the processing of incinerator bottom ash (IBA). With a capacity of up to 800,000 tonnes for the treatment of IBA and the production of GRANOVA secondary aggregates as well as corresponding processing plants for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, this plant is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.

MAV Kelheim GmbH

MAV Kelheim GmbH is a specialist mineral waste management company based in the industrial port of Kelheim in Bavaria. With many years of expertise, it offers comprehensive services for the recycling of a wide range of mineral waste, including track ballast, incinerator bottom ash, soil and construction waste.

MAV Krefeld GmbH

MAV is synonymous with expertise in waste management, and the processing and recycling of mineral waste. The company, a joint venture of STRABAG and REMEX, heads the MAV Group, whose subsidiaries and affiliated companies operate plants in Krefeld, Lünen, Erftstadt, Cologne and Kelheim.

MAV Lünen GmbH

At its site in Lünen, the MAV Group processes incinerator bottom ash (IBA) for use as GRANOVA secondary aggregates. Ferrous and non-ferrous metals are recovered during the process and recycled.

REKS GmbH & Co. KG

REKS GmbH & Co. KG is a joint venture of REMEX and K+S. The company is an expert in waste management solutions in the field of underground disposal and underground stowage in salt mines and for covering potash waste heaps. In addition, it offers all services for the recycling of aluminium slag containing salt.

REMEX Bochum GmbH

REMEX Bochum GmbH specialises in the reliable disposal of mineral construction waste as well as its processing and subsequent reuse as high-quality REMEXIT brand recycled aggregates.

REMEX Coesfeld GmbH

Since 1996, at its location in Dülmen-Rödder, REMEX Coesfeld has been the regional contact partner for the disposal of soil as well as the processing of construction and demolition waste for reuse as recycled aggregates.

REMEX Kamsdorf GmbH

REMEX Kamsdorf GmbH, formerly Großtagebau Kamsdorf GmbH, has been part of our group of companies since the end of 2021. The company is based in Unterwellenborn (Thuringia) and produces high-quality construction materials from limestone, clay slate and greywacke. The company manages a quarry for the extraction of natural mineral materials. In addition, non-contaminated soils and mineral construction waste are accepted as part of the recultivation of the opencast mine.

A joint venture of REMEX Minerals Singapore Pte Ltd. and PEAKMORE International Pte Ltd. The company, based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, processes ferrous scrap, stainless steel and the coarse fractions of non-ferrous metals for subsequent sale within Asia. more

REMEX, together with its Singapore subsidiary, operate one of the most modern processing plants for incinerator bottom ash in Asia. ISO certified and with optimal recycling quotas for metals, the company is a flagship project in the region. more

REMEX Nord GmbH (formerly ETH Umwelttechnik GmbH) became part of the REMEX Group in 2019. It has been involved in the disposal of industrial, municipal and commercial waste since 1985. Its constant goal is to return the waste to the material and economic cycle after it has been treatment/processed, thereby reducing the consumption of natural resources.

R & R Rohstoffrückgewinnung und Recycling GmbH was founded in 1992. At its site in Mettmann, the company operates a processing plant for construction and demolition waste as well as a pre-treatment plant for mixed construction waste and commercial waste.

Zentraldeponie Hubbelrath GmbH

Since 1994, Zentraldeponie Hubbelrath GmbH has been managing the central landfill Hubbelrath. Since the early 1970s, the class II landfill has been an important location for the disposal of mineral waste for Düsseldorf and the surrounding region. The shareholders of ZDH comprise AWISTA Gesellschaft für Abfallwirtschaft und Stadtreinigung mbH and REMEX GmbH. With its latest expansion section, the south expansion, the disposal of class II waste is ensured until approx. 2037.
